Canadian Olympic History made

I couldn't help but get all chocked up last night as moguls olympian Alexandre Bilodeau from Rosemere, Quebec, made history by winning the FIRST EVER gold medal in the olympic games on Canadian soil. Drawing strength and inspiration from his older brother, Frederic who suffers from cerebral palsy but is always present in lending his support. Together they pushed each other to reach their goal, stepping on the podium as an olympic champion. Shivers is what best describes the feeling i, along millions of other Canadians get, as his victory run is played over and over on tv stations across this great country. Be PROUD CANADA...EYYYY OHHHH CANADA GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

It's always refreshing when you hear about someone doing what they love and doing it well. Especially when you know the person, lose touch a long the way, but only to hear about them through the arts. I'm talking about Montreal's own NEVES, the talented singer / song writer from good ol' St-Michael, where we both grew up out of, in different time. Rough neighborhood?...depends what you think rough is, for Neves ( David Franchini ) seems his passion for his music is anything but rough.

Vodka or Decor Piece?!?

So i just ordered 2 bottles of this Crystal Head Vodka. Canadian made, distilled and bottled in Newfoundland, in association with Dan Akroyd. Oddly enough, its not sold in the greater parts of Canada, so i'm getting mine shipped from a buddy out in L.A. The packaging and aesthetics of the liquor are what makes this product stand out, with a pretty cool tale dating back to the Aztec's and the Crystal Skulls. I'm eagerly awaiting for these to arrive, as i've heard different takes on the actual taste of the vodka itself. But i'm a positive person, so i found a review that had nothing but good things to say. At worst if it does suck, hey it makes a great showroom piece and conversation starter, right?Read review here.
